Local tales are told that the road to the property, which turns into the BLM trail that goes all the way to Hwy 50, was the old stagecoach trail. The quaint rustic cabin built at the time of the mining, is a dry cabin, warmed in the winter by a freestanding woodstove. There is a buried 110-gal cistern with an outside pump powered by a propane generator. Propane is piped into the cabin for a heater and stove. Access to Thousands of acres of BLM bordering this property available only to those in the gated community of the Ross Spring Ranch. Just past the cabin are 2 paths. The upper path takes you up to the mine, the lower path takes you to a meadow - a possible building spot. Hike and climb the 70-acre property and make discoveries of your own.
